NEW YORK GREEK FILM EXPO, a Greek film festival for ALL New Yorkers, will be held at the Museum of the Moving Image October 11-13. The Hellenic Film Society (HFS) will present the latest and best award-winning films from Greece. Filmmakers from Greece, whose films are being shown, will attend and participate in audience Q&As. Screening schedule in Astoria is as follows: LITTLE THINGS THAT WENT WRONG (Friday, 7 pm); FONISSA (Saturday, 6pm); THE PROMOTION (Sunday, 3pm), YANI SPANOS: BEHIND THE MARQUEE (Sunday. 5:30pm). HFS will honor actress Vangelio Andreadaki with its first-ever Lifetime Achievement Award. Additional screenings will be held in Manhattan and in Fort Lee, NJ.
